Our dream is to build a home for the bookish and the bold—a place where your fantasy flag can fly high and free. Through immersive events, cozy meetups, and magical moments, we hope to inspire connection: with yourself, with others, and with the worlds that live in your imagination.
We're not just building balls and bookish experiences (though yes, there will be plenty of those!). We’re also creating smaller, welcoming gatherings that celebrate camaraderie, shared interests, and the kind of friendships that last long after the last page.

ABoUT THE FOUNDEr
Hi, I'm Courtney. A recent transplant to the Charlotte area, I’ve always dreamed of building a space where magic and meaning meet—a haven for dreamers, readers, do-gooders, and lovers. With a background in events, wedding photography, and 15 years in the nonprofit world, I’ve spent my life crafting moments that matter.
Growing up, I dreamed of becoming a Disney Imagineer—someone who could bring wild worlds and heartfelt wonder to life. For me, being an Imagineer was about more than design; it was about creating immersive storytelling experiences so rich and real, guests forgot where they were for a moment. Booked & Bewitched is the bookish version of that dream come true. A place where imagination doesn’t just live—it dances.
I’m also a passionate advocate for neurodiverse individuals and fiercely believe in the power of girlhood. Booked & Bewitched is my love letter to those who crave connection, creativity, and just a touch of fantasy. I can’t wait to meet you.
