If the past year has taught us anything, it’s that the bookish community deserves better. We’ve all seen conventions crumble and events fall short of their promises. But we’ve also seen something else rise from the ashes: connection. Genuine friendships, shared creativity, and a community of readers, creators, and dreamers who refuse to give up on the magic of story.

That’s where the Booked & Bewitched Society comes in.

The Society is more than a book club. It’s a hub for the thoughtful, incredible people we’ve been lucky enough to meet while planning Persephone’s Grove: A Midwinter Ball—the cosplayers who pour their hearts into performances, the indie authors who deserve the spotlight, the small fantasy businesses whose craft makes the worlds we love feel more tangible, and the event planners who know that collaboration beats competition every time.

The Society was born from a simple belief: we are stronger—and more magical—together. This is a place for anyone who loves books, fantasy, whimsy, and romance to find their fam, celebrate creativity, and never feel like just another ticket number in a crowd.
